After many years working in the travel industry and exploring exotic destinations around the world, I discovered close to home, one of the most glorious places on earth - Malei Island.
Nothing prepared me for the feast of sights and wonders on display during my four day trip to celebrate my birthday with friends and family. Every wish for a magical West Coast experience was granted : whale sightings from the boat, too numerous to keep track of, sublime sunsets from an ocean side hot tub, a pod of orcas cruising past the deck, while we sat awestruck over our fresh caught salmon dinner, strolling the boardwalk, sculpted through lush rainforest where each turn revealed ancient, wild and untouched beauty. A final quiet night by a warm fire while the waves crashed below. This is Malei!
Our hosts ensured each day was both adventurous and restful. I can hardly imagine a holiday to surpass Malei Island with Its grandeur and rugged beauty. Your time here will be unforgettable!
